Scholarships are always sought after, now more than ever. College tuition has risen three times faster than the median family income, making it difficult for families to send their children to college.

Consequently, Americans ages 25 to 34 are less likely to be well-educated than the generation that preceded them. Adding to the problem, are falling tax revenues, which have resulted in millions of dollars of cuts to higher-education.

Investing in our youth is one of the best ways we can achieve success in our region. Associated Industries, wants to help ensure a bright future for Northwest area students though the Associated Industries Bright Promise Program. We expect to grow this fund through our partners and membership.

This program also intends to help keep trained workers in the community after college, by placing a strong emphasis on industries within the Inland Northwest that are constantly seeking promising talent.
